The Grindelwald Health Club is located within the Tamar Valley Resort and includes a Heated Indoor Pool, Spa, Sauna and Gymnasium.

Guests staying at the resort have complimentary access to the Resort’s health club area. The indoor Centre has a heated pool (29 degrees), spa, steam sauna, paddling pool and fully equipped gymnasium.

Our recently refurbished gymnasium is fully equipped with great new Life Fitness equipment.

The Tamar Valley Resort is set in the beautiful Tamar Valley a quick 15 minute drive from Launceston’s CBD! Tamar Valley Resort has everything you need for a short break with extensive indoor/outdoor recreational facilities sure to keep even the busiest people entertained!

Whether you’re an in-house guest or a day visitor to the resort, why not try a round of golf at our private and picturesque par 36 course 9 hole golf course. Our Golf shop enthusiast’s will be more than pleased to offer any tips or assistance with hire or purchase of equipment. We also have a large range of clothing and accessories!

Or if Mini Golf is more your style have a putt at our 18 hole mini golf course! The course has been newly-refurbished and is looking and feeling brand new!

Or for the young at heart why not hire a Pedal Go Cart (single or double!) or Mountain Bike for a few hours to explore the Resort’s facilities and surrounds.

Hire a canoe, paddle boat or kayak and take a ride out on the main Lake and get a duck’s-eye view of the magnificent estate style grounds.

There is also an Electronic Games Arcade (fees apply) with approximately 12 specialised games including Soft Toy Games, Racing Car Simulators, Cowboy Shoot Outs and much much more. This area is sure to provide many hours of enjoyment for the whole family.

Why not make use of the modern fully equipped health club with gymnasium, heated indoor pool, sauna, heated spa, child’s wading pool and more.

You can feed the Rainbow Trout along with the Ducks and Swans who have chosen to make the numerous Lakes at the resort home.

If you prefer a game of Tennis, there is one floodlit full size courts available for both day & night tennis.

There is also a child’s playground with swings and a sensational pirate ship.

In House Guests may also take advantage of the many free BBQ & picnic areas that are located at scenic points around the Resort.

For those feeling a little more energetic why not take a brisk walk to the top of the resorts Tamar Horn look out, once at the top you will be able to see the whole of the Tamar Valley region and the beautiful Tamar River. From this prime vantage point Jaw Dropping views extend far beyond Launceston!
